Max Mutzke & Band

20 Jahre Max Mutzke - Die Jubiläumstour

The impressive career of singer and songwriter Max Mutzke began in 2004 with the number 1 hit "Can't Wait Until Tonight", with which he took 8th place in the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, the artist with the recognizable, soulful-soft voice has been delighting his fans with various musical facets. Whether pop, rock, soul, funk or jazz - Max Mutzke masters every genre. With his hits from the last 20 years and new songs, the artist is going on a big anniversary tour next year. Max Mutzke has now released eight studio albums and two live albums. His next album will be released in the anniversary year 2024. The charismatic singer will present the new songs together with his band as part of the extensive tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to his distinctive voice, he inspires his audience above all with his versatility. The singer has already been able to prove this in collaboration with various artists: For years, Max Mutzke has played with jazz greats such as Klaus Doldinger, Wolfgang Haffner, Bill Evans, Till Brönner, Nils Wülker, Matti Klein Band, Marialy Pacheco and many more, as well as with the biggest and most successful big bands such as the SWR Big Band, the WDR Funkhausorchester, the Big Band der Bundeswehr or even with classical orchestras such as the NDR Radiophilharmonie, the Babelsberg Filmorchester or the string quintet Takeover Ensemble. He also continues to enjoy success on TV: in 2019, Max Mutzke won the first edition of the TV show "The Masked Singer" in the costume of an astronaut and at the beginning of 2021, his first own TV format "Lebenslieder" started on ARD, which was continued in April 2022. In addition to music, social commitment is a matter close to his heart: Max Mutzke is an active supporter of the German Children's Association in Essen with its campaign against child abuse, has taken on the patronage of NACOA (advocacy group for children in Germany who suffer from alcohol or drug addiction in their families) at the Waldshut Women's and Children's Shelter and is active as an ambassador for the Misereor aid organization.
